My Achievements

I believe no achievement should be touted or valued if you cannot first say you are a good person (both inside and out). Thus, I believe my first achievement is just that--I truly try to be the best person I can be and strive, in doing so, to be the best daughter I can be and make my parents proud.  My other achievements are only secondary to this central cornerstone that propels my life, every step of the way forward. I am a teenager, so like anyone in my age group, I have made mistakes, but have learned from them.  It's important to not present yourself as perfect because that would be a falsehood.  None of us are perfect.  We are all learning and growing and maturing, and that is a journey I find both fascinating and encouraging, for it makes you a truer person, an honest person and a stronger one.

Striving for Excellence: Academic Achievements

I aspire to be a cardiologist one day; therefore, school has always been important to me. Striking just the right work-life balance is sometimes tricky and can pose a challenge for most people. As being an academic scholar, model, actress, and community service activist, I've had to learn how to balance my life's responsibilities in order to achieve academic success. All of these experiences have taught me that anything worth having is worth sacrificing and fighting for to achieve.
